The producers of NJs Annual Statewide LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration, reluctantly announce that our 30th Annual LGBTQ+ Celebration Celebration, held in Asbury Park, will be rescheduled from October 10th, to June 5,
This matter was not decided lightly. As the summer wound to a close, Jersey Pride was forced to confront the reality of a fall surge of the virus courtesy of both the delta variant and a non-trivial percentage of the population eschewing vaccinations. We are now beginning to obtain some pushback and cancellations of those who might otherwise have participated in our event this October. Authoritative consultants raised the spectre that we would be creating a super-spreader event. Other prides like Atlanta Pride that had rescheduled their events to the drop have already cancelled.

A Guide to Celebrating Pride Month at the Jersey Shore
Pride Month, celebrated in June, honors the LGBTQ+ community. The Jersey Shore is home to many organizations that aim to provide aid and a harmless haven for Queer individuals. Alongside petite businesses at the Jersey Shore, such organizations are hosting parades, festivals, and themed nights in beloved oceanside towns to celebrate the LGBTQ+ members of the Garden State. Atlantic Municipality Pride Bar Crawl | Atlantic Urban area, New Jersey
The Atlantic City Pride Lock Crawl is on June 21st. The bar crawl takes place from 4PM until 10PM. As of this writing, the AC Event Bar Crawl includes access to four venues, two to three drinks or shots, food/drink specials, and access to a photographer/videographer. Pub Crawls asks participants to check in between 4PM and 8PM at the location listed on the ticket to receive a wristband, which will provide access to the bars selected for the crawl.

'We will not be erased': Jersey Pride events pride on in Asbury Park in new Trump era
- Asbury Park's annual Pride march and festival, scheduled for June 1st, aim to foster community and resilience in the face of national political climate.
- Several other Pride events are planned throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.
ASBURY PARK -- Many in the LGBTQ+ society here are anxious after what they see as the Trump administration's charge on their very existence.
Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn said that is why it is more important than ever that people demonstrate up and show their support for this year's Pride Month celebrations, which start in the town with a parade, rally and festival on June 1.
"We are very nervous about the national climate. I think when you're in a large community of LGBTQ people and allies of LGBTQ people, it's an opportunity to take a deep breath because you feel supported," Quinn said.
