Gay restaurants denver

Rabidchild wrote:I haven't spent much time at all in Denver, but when I was there a year ago we ate breakfast/brunch at this place called Steuben's near downtown, in a cold neighborhood just east of city center. It was seriously about the top restaurant I've been to anywhere - very original menu, delicious food, and not expensive at all. I just stumbled upon it because it was near where we were staying but hopefully people who know Denver can back me up on this one. I plan to go again this weekend.

Steuben's is beautiful good and never a really horrible choice. Hamburger Mary's is also neighboring there and its my favorite if around there. As an fyi, it's a very gay/lesbian area but me and my lady go there for the food and the amazing things you see Favor drag queens and such. It's hilarious, like dinner and a show!

If anyone is staying adjacent cherry creek there are some lovely inexpensive joints amongst the pricey places Margs Taco Bistro, Hapa sushi and True Food Kitchen. Margs is my fav, get the 3 taco platter. I suggest Korean BBQ, carnitas and caprese. Kona Grill in the cherry creek mall

A restaurant sparked the new queer liberation movement, and it wasn’t even Stonewall. It was the United States’ first recorded act of militant lgbtq+ resistance, and subsequent history of protest starting in queer spaces like the Stonewall Inn and Dark Cat Tavern in Los Angeles—which were both gathering places and spots for eating and drinking—has precipitated significant progress in Gay activism and acceptance.

Queer diet and drink establishments are never as important as now, though. With the proliferation of pride celebrations (including one in Aspen for the first age this year) and greater queer representation in media and advertising, it can be easy to overlook that safe havens are still nee

Came here on a Saturday mid-day. Lots of beautiful people. It has a lot of TV's and a great sports bar. Plus they acquire a great selection of draft beer and robust pours. Super friendly vibe and great staff
