Pride is upon us yet again, Montreal!
From Aug. 3 to 13, Fierté Montréal plays host to all kinds of events showcasing some of the finest entertainment the LGBTQ+ group has to offer. Inhabit music, drag shows, standup comedy, opportunities to connect community organizations and (yes!) a Pride Parade downtown are all part of this year’s festivities, with much of the show happening at Parc Olympique (for free!).
In a age where LGBTQ+ rights experience under attack more than ever (especially in the United States), Pride remains an incredibly vital event to have, and proof that our support and solidarity with the lgbtq+ community should remain just as strong all year round. This year’s Fierté Montréal looks to undertake all that and then some, with a mighty lineup of events and performances from every corner of the 2SLGBTQIA+ spectrum.
Here’s a preview of some of this year’s must-see events at Pride/Fierté, starting this coming Thursday.

Montreal Pride takes place from 3rd to 13th AugustMontréal Pride festival proposals an exciting, fun-filled day program: People Days, free shows including a Mega T-Dance, festivities in many of the Village's establishments and the famous Identity festival Parade.
Since , at the initiative of Montréal’s LGBTQ+ communities, the Montréal Parade Festival has promoted their rights and celebrated their cultural wealth and social advances. The largest gathering of the communities of sexual and gender diversity (SGD) in the Francophone world works locally on a daily basis while serving as a beacon of expect for people living in LGBTQ+ antagonistic regions of the globe. In , the festival generated a total of 3 million entries for all their events from tourists all around the world.

Montréal Pride March will be held on Sunday, the 13, August @ 1pm.
