Questions answered by Callie OBrien.
Q1: If you could take just one record with you to endure the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding path — what would it be, and why?
Music for 18 Musicians, by Steve Reich. It’s simultaneously calming and relentless, percussive and droning, always evolving and perfectly still. Every time you notice it, in all the recursive looping and repetition, you can always pick out something new.
Q2: How will the audience retain you the morning after?
I appreciate to imagine we’ll leave you short of breath with a fizzing on the tongue, but we’re contractually obligated to tell you of some notable side effects waking up with a nosebleed, frostbite, a pounding headache, and memories that arent entirely your own.
Q3: What’s the temperature of your show?
Shallowspace is burning cold and freezing steamy, the shock of an ice bath and the blaze of a rocket launch. It’s complete of feverish yearning, and the ice-cold realities of the vacuum of space. But if I had to pick one, it’d be °C: the perfect temperature to put a body on ice.

The programme is still being added to so check it nearer the time for more Edinburgh events. Final disclaimer, I haven’t added a lot of regular weekly events to this, they’ll proceed out in the usual newsletters during June.
