Franklin Highway was formerly located on the southwest corner of Franklin and West Tupper Streets at the southern edge of the historic Allentown neighborhood. An example of late Federal townhouse style, a type of Colonial architecture, the building was a double and housed both and Franklin. The building was constructed of brick and, representative of Federal manner, featured a low-pitched hipped roof, molded cornices emphasized by decorative brackets, and stepped gable walls.
